The city of Pilsen and the surroundings of Pilsen – North, where the ranch is located,
offers a large number of interesting monuments and natural beauties.
ZOO
Pilsen Zoo, which was founded in 1926, covers 21 hectares. Visitors can see more than 1700 mammals, 1800 birds and many other animals. Souvenirs can be bought in the shop.
DinoPark
Next to the Zoo is DinoPark, where you will find many life-size dinosaurs. If you feel like it, you can also watch a 3D movie or buy a souvenir.
Pilsner Urquel
Czech Brewery founded in 1842, which produces the first Pilsner type of beer, Pilsner Urquel. The company is also the largest exporter of beer abroad. Visit the place where the famous beer was born and where its story continues to this day.
The center of Pilsen
Take a walk through the historic city center. Around the Cathedral of St.Bartolomew you will find a number of interesting places and buildings. Enjoy not only historical monuments, but also the local unique gastronomy in renowed restaurants or cozy cafes and bars.
J.K.Tyl Theater
The new theater is a modern stage of the Josef Kajetán Tyl Theater in Pilsen. The building was built between 2012 and 2014. The theater offers four theatrical genres : drama, musical – operetta, ballet and opera. The theater also has a restaurant „ Behind the Curtain „ which offers its theater guests stylish seating.
Techmania
The Techmania Science Center offers themed exhibitions dedicated to science and technology. The first 3D planetarium in the Czech Republic was opened within the complex in 2013. It is one of the few devices in Europe that can project a three-dimensional image on a spherical surface using SkyScan technology.
Bolevec ponds
The most important recreational area of the city. The system of ponds was founded in the 15th century and consists of 12 ponds, today mostly used for swimming, wates sports and fishing.
Nebilovy Castle
It is located in the village of the same name in the southern Pilsen region, 16 km from Pilsen. It is an example of very clean, Viennese – oriented Baroque castle architecture and excels in a calm and romantic atmosphere.
